We have some of the most advance facilities for manufacturing aluminium and aluminium alloy rods for the wire and cable industry in the Asia Pacific region which makes our EC and alloy aluminium rods of world class standard. These rods are widely used in the production of overhead power transmission and distribution cables.
Our rods are manufactured by melting aluminium ingots and other required alloying materials in an alloying furnace before being rolled in a "rod mill". Subsequent operations may vary according to the end-products desired. These may include additional processes of annealing and heat treating.
